Jenna Worden is a producer, director, and stage manager based in Boston, Massachusetts with a love for storytelling in all its forms. Jenna co-produces and artistic directs the stage productions of GBH’s A Celtic Sojourn with Brian O’Donovan, presented at Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, and the summer Rockport Celtic Festival. Jenna directed and produced films of 2020’s Christmas Celtic Sojourn and 2021’s St. Patrick Day’s Celtic Sojourn, which together received five Telly Awards. She also helped produce Commonwealth Shakespeare’s 25th Anniversary production of The Tempest, presented on the Boston Common free of charge.
Jenna is sought-after as a stage manager and works frequently with award-winning directors Bryn Boice, Paula Plum, and Steve Maler. Collaborators often comment on her unique ability to tend to logistics and storytelling alike, allowing each team member the space and creativity to do their best work. Jenna is also the Operations Manager for Maler Communications, a presentation coaching firm which serves political leaders and high-profile executives from companies such as Google, YouTube, and the Human Rights Campaign. Jenna is a frequent guest presenter for college students and young professionals across the country. She is currently accepting bookings for her stage management masterclasses: Caretakers of Art: Managing people and cultivating creativity; and Stopwatches and Spreadsheets: The inner workings of stage management. She also enjoys custom tailoring her talks to specific program needs and interests. Jenna earned both a BA in Theatre Studies and BSEd in History from Northern Arizona University.
